Help a burner, get access to a burner, so I can have warm food.

So, in years past myself and my sweetie managed to camp near folks who had a kitchen area. The Cirkus Camp.
This kitchen area is supposedly not happening this year, and we realize we've got no camp stove of our own.
Like lots of y'all money's tight. Buying a stove, especially when it won't seen enough use other times to really justify it's purchase? A waste.
Is the area where coffee and tea is provided also an area where people can heat up other things?
Our needs are small. Last year we made do with Indian MRE's and other items that really only needed to be heated up briefly in a sauce pan.
If I bring my own pan and utensils, would it be wrong of me to hope that I might have a burner on a stove to use?
I can provide everything else, and more then clean up after myself. I just need access to a stove.

  • Hey Kaz,
Yes, the communal kitchen (coffee/tea area) is where you can go to cook your own food if you don't have a camp stove.

Yup, just bring your own pans/utensils and you should be all set.

Oh, and if you've got any extra when you're cookin', you can always feed your friendly Rangers and the Ranger station who'll be the next quonset hut over from the kitchen... ;-)
